Workshop description
Our workshop will first highlight international successes in advancing abortion access in the regions of Africa, Latin America and Asia. A dynamic exercise will help participants explicitly link reproductive justice issues to surrounding justice movements and increase awareness of the relevance of reproductive justice issues at the local community level. In our final small group planning sessions, participants will brainstorm concrete actions items to incorporate reproductive justice issues into their respective movements. Action items will include a focus on how we can help international policy efforts and how to educate others on these issues, including increasing awareness of how these issues are relevant to our local communities.
